Vung Ang Port berths large vessel

Ha Tinh Port Joint Stock Co yesterday welcomed the first ever 45,000 DWT ship to dock at Vung Ang port in the central province of Ha Tinh. Captain Wang Yeh Shen of the World Trade said that Vung Ang is an ideal port for loading large vessels.

On the same day, the Viet Nam National Maritime Bureau officially put into operation the US$33-million Wharf 2 under Ha Tinh Port JS Co’s management.

Whart 2 has a designed capacity of 860,000 tonnes per year.
