VNPT reaches 48.183tr dong revenue in H1

Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Group (VNPT) has said that it gained total revenue of 48.183 trillion dong in the first six months of this year, rising 115.72 percent over the same period last year and tax payment was at 5.822 trillion dong.

According to the decision on operation organisation and operation of VNPT approved by the prime minister (issued on January 28, 2011), VNPT is a 100 percent state-owned one-member limited liability company.

VNPT’s chartered capital (excluding registered capital of Vietnam Post Corp) is 72.237 trillion dong. In 2010, VNPT gained 101.569 trillion dong revenue, up 21.23 percent against the previous year.

In its development plan during 2010-15, VNPT is striving to be amongst top ten providers of telecommunication and information technology (IT) solutions and services in Asia. By 2015, the group’s revenue is expected at $14-15 billion, profit at 23-23.6 trillion dong and tax payment at 13.6-14 trillion dong.
