VND18 billion sales turnover posted at High Quality Vietnamese Goods Fair 2010

Twenty-two contracts and 19 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) were signed at the High quality Vietnamese Goods Trade Fair 2010 which was held recently in Can Tho city from October 19-24.

The event attracted 200 businesses which have earned the “High Quality Vietnamese Goods” title as voted by consumers.

After the fair concluded, participating businesses opened 62 distribution branches and new agencies in the Mekong River Delta provinces and cities, according to the organizing board. Total direct sales by businesses at the fair reached VND18 billion. Some businesses posted notably impressive sales such as Bitis (VND340 million), Vina Footwear (VND270 million), Happy Cook (VND187 million) and Chi Thanh Helmet (VND180 million).

The participating businesses also held many promotional activities for their brand names and product quality and design improvements as well as exchanges between entrepreneurs in the western region and High Quality Vietnamese Goods businesses. – VOV
