VN Index slips to 386pts and HNX Index drops to 69pts

After the trading session today May 25, the VN Index lost the 400 point threshold and similarly the HNX Index also dropped to below the 70 point threshold. The liquidity increased strongly on both bourses Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

Particularly, the VN Index tumbled 16.25 points to 386.36 pts, marking the lowest level during past two years.

The total matching order trade reached 35.5 million shares or 673 billion dong, down 10 percent from the previous trading session. The market saw 244 losers with 199 falling to the floor price.

Similarly, the HNX Index also tumbled 2.87 points or 3.99 percent to 69.01 pts with the total market trade of over 31.184 million shares valued at nearly 321.262 billion dong.
