VN Index loses 1pct to 415pts

VN Index today Friday July 15 ended this week with a fall of 4.19 points or 1 percent to 414.74 pts. The trading value saw the lowest level in recent four sessions with only 378 billion dong for 19 million units being transferred.

At the closing time, STB led the list of matching order trade with over 1.7 million units being changed hands and ended at 13,600 dong/share, up 100 dong.

Also in the trading session today, Dragon Capital confirmed the information of selling STB for other partner under the negotiable price. Dragon Capital hopes to sell STB at higher price than the current market price.

HQC of Hoang Quan Real Estate Co stood at the second with 1.7 million shares being traded. HQC closed with a gain of 400 dong to 14,200 dong/shares, ending the chain of 12 consecutively floor hitting sessions.

Other key stocks reached low trading volume and lost points today.

HNX Index also marked the third straight fall to 71.54 points with the trading value of 170 billion dong, the lowest level since March 16, 2009 (125 billion dong).

Only KLS and VND reached the trading volume of over one million units. Both two shares lost points today.

Meanwhile, the group of petrol shares such as PFL, PGS, PVI, PPS, PVA, PVC, and PVR gained 0.1-0.4 points.
