Vinh Long province allowed to establish three additional IZs
The government has approved to supplement additional three industrial zones in Vinh Long province, including Binh Tan Industrial Zone, Dong Binh Industrial Zone and An Dinh Industrial Zone.
Binh Tan Industrial Zone will be built in Thanh Loi Commune, Binh Tan District, along Hau River and next to National Highway No 54. In this new industrial zone, the local government will focus on developing industrial sectors such as consumer goods, textile, handcraft and fine arts, electronic equipment, packaging, pharmaceutical and cosmetics, mining and producing construction materials, processing agricultural products and food, processing vegetables and fruits, seafood, leasing store houses and other industries that cause less environment pollution.
With total investment capital of over one trillion dong, Dong Binh Industrial Zone will be developed in an area of 350 hectares in communes of Dong Binh and Dong Thanh, Binh Minh Dist. The newly built industrial zone will have such industrial sectors such as processing agricultural products, food, vegetables and fruits, seafood processing, developing consumer goods, packaging, chemicals; pharmaceutical and medical tools.
An Dinh Industrial Zone will be set up in an area of 200 hectares in An Phuoc Commune, Mang Thit Dist with total investment capital of 600 billion dong. The local enterprises in this industrial zone will concentrate on developing such industrial sectors as processing agricultural products, food, vegetable and fruits, seafood, developing consumer goods, textile and garment, handcraft and fine arts, packaging, pharmaceutical and cosmetic production, mining and producing construction materials, and other services. – Chinhphu
