VinaPhone splits up accounts

Leading mobile phone service provider VinaPhone announced that from July 1 each pre-paid subscriber will have five separate accounts for each major service it provides.

The main account will be used for all VinaPhone services, while one will be used for calling other networks and sending message to them, two others within the Viet Nam Post and Telecommunication network which includes VinaPhone and MobiFone mobile services, landlines and city phones.

The last account will be used mainly for the internet service. VinaPhone has 36 million subscribers with a market share of around 30 per cent.
