VinaPhone launches iPhone4 in big cities

Leading mobilephone service provider VinaPhone today begins selling the iPhone 4 in Ha Noi, HCM City and Da Nang.

For the launch, VinaPhone will serve only customers who commit to using post-paid tariff plans.

With iPhone 4 16Gb, customers will pay VND12.8 million (US$650) and VND15.6 million ($790) for iPhone4 32 Gb. They must use the phone for at least 12 months. Three different fee packages are offered, ranging from VND204,000 to VND315,000 per month. In return, after two years, customers will receive refunds from VND2.3 million to VND4 million. In addition, the company will set up the first International Call Centre with staff who can speak English, Mandarin, Korean and Japanese.
