Vinalines Expects Pretax Profit of VND800B This Year

Vietnam National Shipping Lines (Vinalines) expects to make a pretax profit of VND800 billion (US$27.05 million) this year, down 50% from a year earlier.
Vinalines also expects to earn revenues of VND17.8 trillion this year, down 15% against from last year.

The company made a pretax profit of VND18 billion on revenues of VND7.96 trillion in the first six months of this year.
Currently, Vinalines is operating 11 seaports which handle a total cargo volume of 50 million tons annually. (Vinalines)
