Vinaconex 2 plans $79m urban area in Ha Noi
Viet Nam Construction Joint Stock Co No 2 (Vinaconex 2) will develop the Kim Van-Kim Lu new urban area in Ha Noi at a cost of about VND1.5 trillion (US$78.9 million), under approvals from the municipal People’s Committee.
To be built on a site of 27ha in Hoang Mai District’s Dai Kim Commune, the development will include apartments, villas and shopping areas, as well as low-income housing.
Vinaconex 2 said it expected to commence construction in the first quarter of next year and would set aside VND386 billion ($20.3 million) for land clearance and construction of technical infrastructure.
The project is expected to take five years for completion.
An inspection team from the city’s Department of Construction has also begun inspecting 34 new urban and housing projects already commenced or completed in the area, including seven in Hoang Mai District. Inspectors were auditing project progress for compliance with plans previously approved by the city.
