Vietsovpetro expects to surpass 2011 year plan before due date
Vietsovpetro (VSP), a Vietnamese-Russian Joint Venture participated in the ninth Vietnam International Oil and Gas Exhibition 2011 held in Hanoi from October 27-29.
Since the establishment up to now, the joint venture has pumped 195 million tonnes of crude oil, bringing in total revenue of about $55 billion.
This is one of the company members in Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) that was expected to successfully surpass the targeted year plan earlier.
This year, Vietsovpetro set targets to reach total oil sales value of $3.557 billion in 2011.
The company has also completed its state budget contribution and transferred profit to Vietnamese and Russian parties. The total revenue gained from other services was posted at over $1.4 billion.
In the remaining months of 2011, Vietsovpetro would continue exploitation works so as to surpass the targeted year plan of at least 6.31 million tonnes of crude oil and fulfil other business targets set for the year 2011. – Source: Vietbiz24.com
