Vietnam’s import for CBU motors estimated at 3,500 units in Apr

After a strong tumble in February, Vietnam’s import spending on CBU (complete build unit) motorcycles has started to recover again.
In January, the country’s import of CBU motors was 16,600 units worth $28 million. However, in the following month, the figure was only 3,000 units valued at $3 million, General Statistics Office (GSO) reported.

According to GSO, the import value for CBU motor in March recovered significantly to 5,800 units for $5 million and the figure was estimated at 3,500 units in April worth $5 million.

Totally, ending the first quarter this year, the country imported 25,300 CBU motors worth $36 million and the total figures in Jan-Apr were about 28,800 units for $41 million.
