Vietnamobile Launches VND25,000 Super SIM Starter

To celebrate its first anniversary, Vietnamobile today unveiled a starter kit called “Super Sim” aiming to offer the best benefits to customers.

When purchasing the new starter kit for just VND25,000, Vietnamobile’s customers receive immediately VND50,000 in their accounts and another VND150,000 worth of off net calls equally distributed over the next six top-ups for minimum card value of VND50,000 prior to December 31, 2010. The promotion is applicable to new subscribers from April 5 to May 31, 2010. The Super Sim starter kit is considered as the best choice for customers at this point owing to the optimal financial benefit and reasonable timing it offers. To date, this is Vietnamobile’s highest value promotion in terms of off net calls. The offer gives customers a total of eight times the initial amount they pay (VND25,000 vs VND200,000), thus saving them significant monthly telephone expenses. The VND200,000 gift is evenly divided to individual top-ups until December 31, 2010 which rules out the customer’s concern about the period allowed for using up the promotion value being too short, making it inefficient in practice.
