Vietnamese handicrafts showcased at Algerian exhibition

Traditional Vietnamese handicrafts are being showcased at the 15th International Fine Arts and Handicrafts Exhibition, which opened in Algiers, Algeria, on March 18.

This year’s event drew the participation of 208 Algerian and 51 foreign businesses and Vietnam’s booth has attracted great attention from visitors to the exhibition.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mustapha Benbada, Algerian Minister of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Handicrafts, welcomed the presence of Vietnamese products at the exhibition.

Vietnam’s handicrafts made from rattan, bamboo, and sedge have become very popular with Algerians in recent years.
