The annual show, the biggest of its kind in the US, attracts as many as 800 processing, import and export companies, distributors and supermarkets from the US as well as other countries in the world.

The Boston show is considered a key event in helping Vietnamese businesses get up-to-date information and access to the American market.

According to the US Department of Commerce, in 2009, Vietnam’s seafood export turnover to the US reached US$677 million and it is now among the ten biggest seafood exporters to the country.
