Vietnam to Raise Oil Reserves by 40MT Next Year
Vietnam’s oil and gas sector targets to raise the national oil reserves by between 35 million and 40 million tons next year.
Domestic and overseas oil productions will reach 23 million tons in 2010, the government of Vietnam said on its website last Saturday, adding that the sector will contribute 30% to the state budget per annum.
The state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) earlier said it will raise its crude oil reserves to 75 million tons this year. (chinhphu.vn)
