Vietnam to be part of global IT boom, says deputy minister

The leadership roles of Vietnamese Chief Information Officers (CIO) were recognised and highly appreciated by leaders, experts and the IT community at the CIO Summit 2011 themed: Vision and Responsibility, in Hanoi on September 29.
Speaking at the three-day meeting, deputy minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong said the world has seen an IT boom in recent years.

In late July, the Ministry of Information and Communications issued a decision to establish a council of State agency IT directors.
