Vietnam to be one of ten largest honey exporters worldwide

Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the World Bee Association, and Vietnam Bee Association officially held an international conference on apiculture and honey trade in Hanoi on October 30, 2010.

At the conference, the participants focused on improving quality of honey and management, and trading honey.

Vietnam has produced nearly 20,000 tonnes of honey, 80-85 percent of which is exported, becoming one of the top-ten honey exporters in the world.
