Vietnam, Russia boost cooperation

The Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Communist Party Committee Le Thanh Hai met with the outgoing Russian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Nikolay Dmitrievich, on May 24.

During their meeting, Mr Hai praised Mr Dmitrievich’s achievements during his five-year terms of office in Vietnam and said he hopes the relationship between the two countries will become stronger in the future.

Mr Dmitrievich thanked the municipal leaders for making it easy for him to his mission in Vietnam. He said the Russian Embassy in Hanoi and the General Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City will serve as a bridge to the Russian president’s visit to Vietnam in the near future.
