Vietnam rubber exports forecast at 50,000 tons in June

Vietnam, the fourth-biggest rubber exporter in 2010, may ship 50,000 tons this month, according to figures today from the General Statistics Office in Hanoi.

The nation shipped 35,000 metric tons in May, 13 percent lower from a previous assessment of 40,000 tons, revised figures from the Statistics Office show. Exports in the first half of 2011 were 284,000 tons, up 18 percent from a year earlier. – Bloomberg
