Vietnam, RoK exchange experiences in designing
Leading experts from Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK) gathered in a seminar on “Vietnam-Republic of Korea: Cooperation and sharing experience in the design sector”, which was held in HCM City on July 4.
The seminars was organized by the Trade Promotion Department, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), the Korean Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP), under the RoK Ministry of Knowledge Economy, and the Korea Designer’s Council (KDC).
Reports presented at the seminars focused on policies for RoK businesses, the development of Vietnam’s design industry, and Vietnam’s progress in developing brand names.
Maing Eunjoo, head of the KIDP international cooperation department introduced the design industry in some developed countries and proposed ways and directions to boost the sector in Vietnam.
The seminar aimed to provide Vietnamese businesses with knowledge and information related to the development of Vietnamese design, branding and packaging industries to improve the competitiveness of their exports to the RoK. – VOV
