Vietnam retail sales, service revenue expand 25% in Jan-Nov

Vietnam’s total retail sales and service revenue is estimated to have accelerated 25% on-year to VND1425 trillion in the first 11 months of this year, the General Statistics Office of Vietnam(GSO) said.

The service revenue contributed VND131.4 trillion, up 23.9% on year this month.

The trade sector reached VND1121.9 trillion, up 25.4% on year compared with VND1010 trillion in October.

The hotel and restaurant sector posted an on-year revenue rise of 22.3% to VND157.6 trillion; and the tourism saw an increase of 30.8% to VND14.2 trillion on-year.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade has forecast retail sales and service revenue in the world’s 13th populous country with 86.5 million people will soar 22% from a year earlier to $78.9 billion this year. – Stoxplus.com
