Vietnam Petroleum Exports Up 41.5% to 1.551M Tons in Jan-Nov

Vietnam is estimated to have exported 1.551 million metric tons of petroleum products valued at $754 million in the first eleven months of this year, up 41.5% from a year earlier in volume but down 18% in value, the General Statistics Office (GSO) said.

The Southeast Asian nation is estimated to have shipped 110,000 metric tons of the products valued at $66 million in November, up 12.24% from a month earlier in volume and 11.86% in value.

The sharp increase in exports of petroleum products is attributed to the fact that the nation’s first oil refinery has produced 935,938 tons of products since its operation on February 22. (GSO)
