Vietnam Natural Gas Production +16.5% to 4.66B cbm in H1

Vietnam’s natural gas production rose 16.5% from a year earlier to 4.66 billion cubic meters in the first half of this year, the General Statistics Office (GSO) said.

The nation produced 670 million cubic meters of natural gas in June, up 13.6% on year, the office said.

The state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) targets to produce 8.58 billion cubic meters of natural gas this year, and expects to tap 51.6 billion cubic meters through 2015.
