Vietnam national debt at 42 percent of gdp in 2010, Nghiep says

Vietnam’s national debt stood at 42 percent of the country’s gross domestic product at the end of 2010, Nguyen Cong Nghiep, deputy minister of finance, said at a press briefing in Hanoi on Monday.
Vietnam aims to limit its national debt to a maximum of 50 percent of gross domestic product, said Nghiep, without providing a timeframe. - Bloomberg
