Vietnam is estimated to import $101 million worth of 81,000 complete built unit (CBU) motorbikes in the first ten months of this year, down 14.5% for quantity and 10.7% for value from 2009

Vietnam is estimated to import $101 million worth of 81,000 complete built unit (CBU) motorbikes in the first ten months of this year, down 14.5% for quantity and 10.7% for value from 2009, the online newspaper VnEconomy reported on October 28, citing the General Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO).

In October alone, the country is expected to spend $8 million on importing 9,000 CBU motorbikes compared with 8,336 assembled motorbikes worth $9.68 million in September, the GSO and the Vietnam Customs data showed. – Stoxplus.com
