Vietnam Motor Show 2010 opened

The sixth Vietnam Motor Show 2010 opened today at Hanoi’s Vietnam Exhibition and Fair Centre displaying 80 of the latest automobile models.

This annual event is held jointly by the Vietnam Automobile Manufactures’ Association (VAMA) and Asia Trade Fair and Business Promotion (ATFA).

This year’s exhibition, entitled ‘Greener and Better,’ showcases automobiles from 11 VAMA members. It has also attracted the participation of nearly 100 companies specialising in spare parts and accessories in Vietnam and abroad.

The exhibition will introduce visitors to the latest products (both domestically produced and imported automobiles) with the most advanced technology to appeal to the tastes of Vietnamese consumers and suitable for the character of the country’s traffic.

The show aims to promote and develop automobile manufacturing and supporting industries in Vietnam. It is also a chance for VAMA members to enhance co-operation, investment and technology exchanges with other automobile manufacturers.

The exhibition is open until November 2, 2010. – Nhandan
