Vietnam joins International tourist exhibition 2010

Together with 408 travel agents from 24 countries, Vietnam took part in the annual International tourist 2010 in Tallin, Estonia’s capital during the middle of February.

This is the third successive year Vietnam has displayed a promotion kiosk to attract visitors.

Complementing a marketing campaign advertising Vietnam and its people and encouraging tourists to the country, a unique Vietnamese restaurant in Estonia was invited to the fair to introduce the country’s culture and gastronomy.

The International Tourist 2010’s organizing board appreciated Vietnam’s participation while the world’s economy is still meeting difficulties.

Aiming to meet the increasing number of Estonia tourists to Southeast Asia and Vietnam, 16 travel agents in Estonia organized tours to Vietnam, increasing by 4 in the number of travel agents from the previous year, said the organizing board.
