Vietnam, Italy sign agreement to boost trade relations

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (ICHAM) and the Hanoi Business Association (HBA) signed a cooperation agreement here on Wednesday to promote bilateral trade relations between Vietnam and Italy.

At the signing ceremony, Italian Deputy Ambassador to Vietnam Damiano Francovigh and Chairman of HBA Nguyen Hong Son expressed their belief that the agreement was a good start of cooperation between the two associations.

Under the agreement, the two associations will jointly cooperate to support the two nations’ business communities to exchange experience and introduce investment promotion programs, as well as create favourable conditions for enterprises to seek business opportunities in each country.

ICHAM was established in 2008 with objectives to advance and develop the bilateral trade between Vietnam and Italy. The chamber opened its offices in both Hanoi and southern Ho Chi Minh City.
