Vietnam, Israel boost cooperation in agriculture

A seminar was held in Hanoi on March 15 to boost economic, trade and investment cooperation between Vietnam and Israel, especially in hi-tech agriculture.

Addressing the seminar, jointly held by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the Israeli Embassy, VCCI Vice President Doan Duy Khuong affirmed that the seminar was a good chance for agricultural enterprises in the two countries to exchange experiences and boost cooperation.

Bilateral cooperation in agriculture and industry over the years has failed to match the two countries’ potential, and enterprises should increase information exchange and discuss cooperative measures.

Israel spends lots of money on researching and applying high technology to the agricultural sector.
