Vietnam industrial production value +13.5% to VND383T in Jan-July

Vietnam’s industrial production value is estimated to have risen 13.5% from a year earlier to VND383 trillion (US$20.15 billion) in the seven months of 2010, said the Industry and Construction Statistics Department.

The country’s industrial production in July has risen 12.3% on-year.

July’s industrial growth lower than that of the seven-month period is attributed to that a number of industries meet difficulties in domestic sale and export, resulting in the high volume in stock such as fertilizer, nitrogenous mixes, paper, animal feed. (VNA)
