Vietnam Exports to Spain +1.54% to US$487.57M in H1

Vietnam earned US$487.57 million from exported goods to Spain in the first half of 2010, rising 1.54% from a year earlier, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said.

The Southeast Asian nation exported US$97.87 million worth of goods to Spain in June, up 5.93% on-month and 13.99% on-year.

Gemstones and precious metals reported the highest on-year soar of 184.8% to US$1 million, followed by rubber, up 152.57% to US$7.46 million, and computers, electronics and components, up 58.81% to US$11.32 million, the ministry noted.

The country’s other export staples were apparel worth US$124.4 million, down 0.03% on-year, footwear worth US$115.42 million, down 1.57% and seafood worth US$79.73 million, down 0.16%.
