The country is forecast to import 2.63 million tons of steel ingot this year, up 10% on-year, Chairman of the VSA Pham Chi Cuong said.
Steel producers in Vietnam are estimated to generate nearly six million tons of steel in 2010, up 12% on-year.

Domestic steel prices will increase slightly this year due to growing input costs such as the price hikes of fuel oil and steel ingot, Cuong noted. (Vnexpress)
