Vietnam Crude Oil Production Up 13.5% to 15.247M Tons in Jan-Nov

Vietnam is estimated to have produced 15.247 million tons of crude oil in the first eleven months of this year, up 13.5% from a year earlier, the General Statistics Office (GSO) said.

The Southeast Asian country’s crude oil production in November is estimated to have fallen 5.6% to 1.251 million tons.

The nation is estimated to have shipped abroad 12.67 million metric tons of crude oil worth US$5.769 billion in the first eleven months of this year, up 3.1% from a year earlier in volume but down 41.7% in value.

This year, the state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) expects to produce 24 million tons of oil equivalents from 16 million tons of crude oil and condensate and eight billion cubic meters of natural gas. (GSO)
