Vietnam crude oil output falls to 11.064Mln tons in Jan-Sept

Vietnam pumped 11.064 million tons of crude oil in the first nine months of this year, down 13.8% on year, the General Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO) said.

The national crude oil output in September also fell 13.9% from August.

The country is estimated to export 6.07million metric tons of crude oil worth $3.675 billion in the Jan- Sept, falling 44.3% and 22.2% on year, respectively, the GSO said

The state-owned Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) is expected to produce 23.58 million tons of oil, including 15 million tons of crude oil and 8.58 billion cubic meters of natural gas. – GSO
