Vietnam cooking gas prices increases by VND4,000

The retail prices of cooking gas have increased by VND4,000 per 12 kilo gas canister

The retail prices of cooking gas have increased by VND4,000 per 12 kilo gas canister due to adjustment of the interbank exchange rate from the VND18,544 to VND18,932 to the dollar on August 18.

The country’s gas firms such as SaiGon Petro and VinaGas have started to apply new price from 7.30 a.m, August 19.

Retail prices of SaiGon Petrol gas have increased at VND224,000/canister and Vinagas has raised VND4,000/canister.

This is the third time gas prices have increased since the beginning of this year.
