Vietnam Computer, Electronics Product Imports +32.4% to $2.58B in Jan-July

Vietnam is estimated to have spent $2.58 billion on importing computers, electronics products and spare parts in the first seven months of this year, up 32.4% from a year earlier, the government’s General Statistics Office (GSO) said.

The Southeast Asian country imported $420 million worth of the products in July, up 7.42% from the revised figure of $391 million, the office said.

Between January and July, the country earned $1.81 billion from exporting computers, electronic products, up 29% on-year – VCCI
