Vietnam Coffee Exports Down 21% to US$777M in Jan-May

Vietnam has raked in US$777 million from shipping 559,000 tons of coffee in the first five months of 2010, down 21% in value and 15.2% in volume from a year earlier, the General Statistics Office estimated.

In May, the country is estimated to have exported 95,000 tons of rice, valued at US$133 million, falling from 117,000 tons worth US$159 million in April.
