Vietnam-Cambodia Trade Fair to open

Vietnam-Cambodia Trade Fair 2010 will be held in Battambang, Cambodia, from October 20-24, attracting 150 businesses.

The event is being organised by the Ho Chi Minh City Investment and Trade Promotion Centre.

On display in 250 booths will be products in many categories: agriculture, consumer goods, processed food, footwear, cosmetics, interior decoration, textile and garments, and electronics.

During the fair, a survey on three retail markets in Battambang, Cambodia, and a seminar on connecting Vietnamese and Cambodian businesses, tourism promotion, and publicising HCM City’s socio-economic achievements will take place.

The fair has been created to introduce Vietnamese goods to Cambodia’s northwestern region. – VOV
