Vietnam budget deficit estimated at vnd30.145 tln in h1/2011
Vietnam’s state budget deficit is estimated to amount to VND30.145 trillion as of June 15 this year, equal to 25% of the year estimate, said the Ministry of Planning and Investment in a statement on June 27.
The state budget revenues were estimated at VND301.34 trillion as of mid June, meeting50.6% of year target while the expenditures were VND331.485 trillion, or 48.8% of year estimate.
The biggest budget revenues came from domestic activities which were estimated at VND189.17 trillion in H1/2011, equal to 49.5% of year plans.
Meanwhile, state revenues from export-import and crude oil were 67.6 trillion and VND42 trillion, respectively, representing corresponding contribution of 48.7% and 60.6% to the year plans.
The Southeast Asian country spent VND74.11 trillion for investments for development projects, equal to 48.8% of the year’s estimate; VND213.865 trillion for socioeconomic , administrative and defense- security activities, or 45.6% of the year’s estimate, and around VND43.51 trillion for foreign loans payments in the period, making up 50.6% of year’s estimate – Stoxplus.com
