Vietnam Airlines to provide more flights during Tet

Vietnam Airlines will provide 99 more flights on domestic airlines in periods from Jan 27 to Feb 1 and from Feb 4-14 to meet the people’s travelling demand during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays, announced the airlines’ spokesperson Le Hoang Dung.

Accordingly, the national flag carrier will increase 41 more flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Hue, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.

The three additional flights per day will bring the total flights on the route to an average of seven per day.

The route between Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc will be added with 20 flights, while the Ho Chi Minh City-Quy Nhon route will see an increase of 19 flights, the Ho Chi Minh City-Pleiku route, 13 flights and the Ho Chi Minh City -Vinh route, 6 flights.

Aircraft serving the festival are the Airbus A320, the Airbus ATR72, and Airbus A321.
