Vietnam Airlines to open routes to Shanghai

The national flag carrier, Vietnam Airlines (VNA), has announced its plans to open two routes from Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi to Shanghai, China on March 28 and 29, respectively.

There will be seven flights a week by A321 aircraft. VNA will offer competitive prices (US$80-150 for a return ticket) in order to attract travellers from and to Vietnam.

VNA has also become the official sponsor for this year’s .Hue festival with a financial assistance budget of VND400 million. Art troupes from five continents will take part in activities of the 2010 Hue Festival scheduled for June 5-13.
