Vietnam Airlines to increase flights for Tet holiday

National carrier Vietnam Airlines on Friday announced it will add another 583 flights for the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.

Accordingly, the number of seats will increase by more than 100,000 on more than ten routes, including those between HCM City and Hanoi, and HCM City and the central city of Da Nang, between January 1 and February 20, 2011, the airline said.

The carrier said it will also launch 24/7 flights during the peak time of the holiday season between December 24-29, and January 3-13.
