Vietnam Airlines to increase flights for National Day

Vietnam Airlines will operate more flights during the forthcoming National Day holidays, from August 30 to September 5.

The national carrier will increase 174,000 more seats to meet the high demand. Accordingly, the Hanoi-Da Nang route will see an increased capacity of 2,000 more seats; 3,656 more seats on the Hanoi-Nha Trang route and 2140 more seats on the Ho Chi Minh City-Nha Trang route.

In addition, Jet star Pacific (JPA) has already begun to sell tickets for routes Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi/Da Nang/Vinh/Hai Phong and from Hanoi to Da Nang for the next Tet holiday season (Lunar New Year) from today.

JPA will start selling cheap fares for passengers who will travel between October 4 and 25 on its website www.jetstar.com from August 26. Accordingly, airfares on the Ho Chi Minh City-Da Nang route will be VND350, 000 and on the Ho Chi Minh City-Vinh route, VND700, 000.

Passengers above 60 years of age will receive a 15-16 per cent discount.
