Vietnam Airlines signed a deal to borrow a $7 million loan from Ocean Bank to buy backup engines for Airbus A321 by Vietnam Airlines, the local newswire VnExpress reported.
General Director of national flag carrier, Pham Ngoc Minh said that the loan would help his firm more active in business and service operations.

Currently Vietnam Airlines is one of the air firms that have the youngest and most modern aircraft fleet in the region. It is running 80 flight routes to 20 domestic destinations and 26 international addresses with more than 300 flights a day.

Vietnam Airlines expects to expand aircraft fleet to 115 by 2015 and 170 units by 2020. – Vietbiz24
