Vietnam’s coffee exports estimated at US$2.1 bil in eight months

Vietnam is expected to export 40,000 tonnes of coffee worth US$86 million in August, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).

The figure will raise the total value of coffee exports in eight months to US$2.1 billion, up 72.2 percent compared to the same period last year.

Currently, the domestic price of coffee is VND50,800 per kilo, VND200 lower than in the previous session. – VOV
