Vietgazprom hits gas flow at second well in Vietnam

The joint operating company Vietgazprom has completed tests on the second site of test well VGP-113-BV-3X at the Bao Wang structure, Gazprom Zarubezhneftegaz reported in a news release.

According to the study, the flow of gas was 104,500 cubic meters a day with an additional flow of condensate at a rate of 7.32 cubic meters a day.

The company plans to begin testing a third site which was chosen based on the results of geophysical studies conducted in August.

Vietgazprom is drilling test well VGP-113-BV-3X as part of a contract on block 112 signed between Gazprom and Vietnams’ national oil and gas group.

Well VGP-113-BV-3X is 1,600 meters deep and was drilled in August of this year.
