VCCI’s e-commerce service centre debuts

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) e-commerce service centre (VCCI eSP) was inaugurated in Hanoi on November 30.

The centre aims to supply e-commerce services for businesses as well as provide information consultancy, guidelines and policies to encourage businesses to apply for e-commerce.

Addressing the ceremony, VCCI Vice Chairman, Pham Gia Tuc, said the establishment of the centre showed VCCI’s efforts to assist enterprisees to apply e-commerce in their business operations. This is one of VCCI’s activities to deploy project, approved by the Prime Minister, to help Vietnam become a country strong in information and communications.

The centre is expected to be a useful tool for effective online business transactions, reducing costs and increasing competitiveness for enterprises.

There was also a signing ceremony for an agreement between VCCI and its partners, including universities, institutes and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to promote e-commerce applications in business operations.
