Van Don International Airport plan be submitted for approval

This project will be carried out under BOT method (building-operating-transferring) with the total investment capital of about $1.2 billion.

The airport is expected to be put into operation in 2014 and transferred to Vietnamese party in 2048.

Quang Ninh province people’s committee committed to create favourable conditions to carry out the project in 2010.

Van Don International Airport is considered one of the key projects in Van Don Economic Zone, therefore, if this project is approved, the investors will get benefits from Vietnam’s policies.
