Upgradation of National Highway No 30

Ministry of Transport and Dong Thap province people’s committee will hold the ground breaking ceremony for upgrading National Highway No 30, from Cao Lanh to Hong Ngu tomorrow October 14, 2010.

The project has investment capital of 3.495 trillion dong, using the capital source from government-guaranteed bonds. The 63-kilometre road of National Highway No 30, from Cao Lanh City to Hong Ngu Town, Hong Ngu Dist, Dong Thap province will be upgraded with standards of delta road-level 3, with road width of 12 metres and designed speed of 60 kilometres per hour.

Dong Thap province people’s committee was the main investor for this project. The construction work was expected to last for 48 months. – Dautu
